Madupetty Dam, located near Munnar in Idukki District, is a magnetic rock storage dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India, to save water for power generation. Mattupetty Dam is a rock reservoir that now serves as a sanctuary for many wild animals and birds due to its continuous water supply. Boating on the tranquil lake is the best way to admire the stream surroundings and forest.
