The park is home to many snakes and other animals, including cobras, king cobras, Russell's vipers, kraits and various vipers. There are many non-venomous snakes, including pythons. The park is dedicated to the protection and conservation of snakes, many of which are extinct. During the show, staff are trained to play with and "interact" with a variety of snakes, including cobras and venomous vipers, and attempt to kill the mysterious fears and superstitions associated with them. The park is located in the old Madras Crocodile Bank Foundation building. Various snakes such as poisonous snakes, pythons, vipers, cobras and other reptiles. It was recognized as a central zoo by the Central Zoo Office in 1995.
