Banasura Sagar Dam dams the Karamanatodu tributary of the Kabini River and is part of the Banasurasagar Project, an Indian dam and canal project that started in 1979. dry season. The dam is also known as Kutiyadi Main Earth Dam. The lake is 38.5 meters (126 feet) high and 685 meters (2,247 feet) long. It is the world's largest lake in India and the second largest lake in Asia. The pool is made of large rocks and stones. The lake is about 15 km from Kalpetta Minar and has a large reservoir with mountains below it, a particularly beautiful place.
