Pookode Lake in Wayanad is a new lake near Kalpetta like map of India. Located amidst lush green forests and surrounded by the Western Ghats, this beautiful lake attracts all visitors to Wayanad. It is located at an altitude of 770 meters in Wayanad district. It is the clearest lake and smallest in Kerala with an area of ​​only 5 hectares. Pukod Lake is also the source of the Panaram River, which flows through the valley and joins the Kabini River. You can enjoy seeing and watching animals and birds coming to the lake from the surrounding forest. The lake is also home to water lilies and water lilies.
